Wonderful photos and ku, Gabi san. Thanks for sharing your paradise!
Isabelle.
Amazing photo, Gabi san! I have never seen the birth of a baby cicada :-) And the photo with little Karl watching cicada -- is precious! Thank you for sharing!
二番目と四番目を訳してみました。

極楽に 蝉の子生まれ 友を知る
( GokuRaku ni semi no ko umare tomo wo shiru )
新しい命の誕生は、ほんとうに感動的な一大イベントですね!
GabiさんもKarl君もそこに立ち会えてなんと幸運だったことでしょう!
セミの鳴き声などが聞けます。

Oh Gabi, these photos are priceless --
an amazing record of the cicada's emergence!
And to have Karl welcome it...
thanks for sharing this event!

Some great shots, Gabi!
I saw a palmetto bug (huge cockroach to the uninitiated)just after it had emerged from its egg case and was sure I'd found some sort of alien life form.
Thanks for sharing.
cheers,

Thanks for visiting, my friends !
GABI
Awesome photos. Thank you so much for sharing. And the haiku as well of course but the photos really resonated for me.
I was especialy pleased with the photo where the cidada looks so much larger than the cocoon/shell.
..... snip
Went back to reread your haiku: I like your use of "evening" because it suggests the old life that the cicada has outgrown and "breeze" for the suggestion of movement, which brings up, at least for me, the idea of change, transformation, and growth. Subtle and beautiful.
