Which ones are you hearing today?

‎. . . . the wind in the bear branches
. . . . the sleet on the roof
. . . . the animals in the forest and bamboo groove
and and and more of the special sounds of winter in my valley
. . . . even the birdsong is "winter" in tone


fuyu no oto 冬の音 - the sound of winter
this refers to sounds which we can only hear in winter.




嶋原や笛も大鼓も冬の音
