summer milkweed --
a pod's fluff hint
at other whiteness
This is from a memory that your words and photo evoked. The memory is from exploring the arid country of Oklahoma watching the milkweed pods open and spread their fluff in the wind. The winters in Oklahoma can be extreme with a thick white frost covering everything!
