雨上がり 雲追う雲の 秋の空 after the rain - clouds chasing clouds in the autumn sky nach dem Regen - Wolken jagen die Wolken am Herbsthimmel |
For those not so familiar with the Japanese symbolism I am referring to, try substitute
"thoughts" for "clouds" and
"mind" for "sky" .

Dear Gabi,
I love the movement in your haiku. I've seen this picture yesterday.
Thank you for capturing it for me.

I think 'chasing clouds' appeals to many of us who aren't familiar with Japanese symbolism Gabi.
A phrase, 'get your head out of the clouds' was coined for a very good reason. It's a universal feeling to lost yourself and chase your thoughts in the autumn sky while watching clouds shift shape.
I have a tendency to seek the metaphor in haiku, to allow human nature to play around in the connotative weather conditions! :-)
Lovely haiku.

Gabi san, from your picture
I could catch the sky condition at just present time.
Here in Tokyo the cloud is not so speedy like as you.
You look like to live on sky palace.
sakuo.
Lovely Gabi, and so very, very deep . . .

P.S. Maybe there is nothing "out there" to write haiku about, and all of this is being created by mind. ;-)

“Wherever you are,
you are one with the clouds and
one with the sun and the stars you see.
You are one with everything.
That is more true than I can say,
and more true than you can hear.”
