Look at my photo album to see all the events.

The Stick Fighting, miyaboo 宮棒, is an old tradition of our area, used by farmers to defend themselves with farmers tools. The children of our local primary school start learning it at age 6. The lion dance and stick fighting performance is a living treasure of Okayama prefecture.

These photos of your festival are wonderful. A real insight into the life you lead in Japan.
I dream of going there someday.

Thank you for this

Dear Gabi san

These photos bring me such joy.

I miss being in Japan. I do not know if I will ever learn to write
or read the language fluently, but, when it comes to the language of the heart, I hear Japan loud and clear.

 珍しい村祭りの写真をありがとうございます。

今は伝承する若い人が少なくなっているようですね。

お祭りの写真有難うございました。
やはり独特の雰囲気がありました。
road crossing,四つ角には大きい木がありますね。
とても良い村です。
