Typhoon Nabi 14 has flattened the rice fields a week ago. Now the wild boars from the near bamboo grove hustle through the fallen bamboo, making an eerie sound, down to the fields in the early evening.
Unfortunately it was a little too dark for photos, so you can barely see the dark bodies beside the red flowers, looking almost like boulders. Look closely below the V mark.
Mother Boar is bringing the six little ones to feed, until our neighbour chases her away with great fuss...

The next night we tried to get better photos, but NOOOO ...
driven to flight on a cloudy, humid, mosquito-friendly night, we had no chance to survive.
