More Haiku about Clouds

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

quiet spring day -
the lake a mirror
but aaaa, the clouds !

Some of my German haiku friends think this is a very simple description of nature and does not leave much way for the imaginagion or inspiration.

Naruhodo!

Putting myself in my German mode, I am inclined to agree!

Putting myself into my Japanese mode, of course, things are different.

the lake like a mirror, the heart pure and undisturbed, the mind clear and free...

the clouds, the clutter in the mind, the worries in the heart

the mirror reflecting all things while not being changed by them

and so on and so on in the ZEN lore...

.......... so much more symbolism in the Japnese mode ...

I was writing about my cluttered state of mind, and nature happened just to show that on this very day.
So it is SHAJITSU 写実 the scetching of nature, in both ways, the inner and the outer world being at the same level at that very moment!

Internal Shasei ...

Crosscultural mis-understanding, maybe ?
