The blackberries are in full bloom now. Whilst I was having a rest in the shade beside the bush, Haiku kun the cat on my lap, there was a constant humming...  lazy afternoon - the sound of the bees and the butterflies  shizukesa ya hachi to choo no oto bakari  静けさや 蜂と蝶の 音ばかり  ... and more beetles  |

What a wonderful summer post. Every since I heard that honey bees have been vanishing I started enjoying them more. These are lovely flowers.
